This family event held at the Collin County Youth Park, 7117 CR 166, features military flyovers and displays, hot air balloons, concessions, children's activities, a concert, chili cook-off, car show and the largest fireworks display in the Collin County area.

Be sure to visit the first weekend after Thanksgiving. The Downtown McKinney Association presents "A Dickens of a Christmas," a celebration of McKinney's Victorian period. Windows are decorated in a seasonal theme and merchants are garbed in costumes of Dickens' London.
